Trauma Toolkit

about the toolkit

Understanding Trauma: A Guide for Practitioners was created for advocates, clinicians, and others working directly with survivors of sexual violence. Having a nuanced understanding of trauma in all its forms can help us support all survivors in their healing journey. It is important that we have the ability to identify the ways trauma can manifest, how it can impact survivors through the lifespan, and the ways it can intersect with presenting issues and lived experiences.
