Community Council

In 2022, the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault launched a nine-member Community Council to expand our reach across the state. Our Community Council consists of members representing the rich diversity of the communities we serve. Council members inform our work serving survivors, promoting prevention practices, and meeting the broader needs of our communities—particularly of marginalized populations typically most impacted by sexual violence. Together, we are collecting data to assess how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted services, as well as identifying new practices and making recommendations for improving access to care.

This project is supported by congressionally directed funding issued by the Office of Senator Cory Booker and a grant from the New Jersey Department of Children and Families’ Division on Women. Thank you for your support and commitment to creating a safer, more equitable New Jersey!
