Domestic/Sexual Violence

Angela is a cum laude graduate from the University of Delaware. She received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and women and gender studies, with a focus on domestic violence prevention and services. Throughout college, Angela had internship experiences with the Department of Corrections and the non-profit sector. These internships involved providing direct trauma-informed support to a diverse group of individuals, which showed Angela the value in finding a balance between providing support and promoting genuine healing and self-sufficiency. This combination of internship experience and specified education in domestic violence facilitated Angela’s interest in pursuing a career in sexual violence prevention and intervention.

As the Administrative Coordinator, Angela is eager to assist with the planning, structuring, and organization of NJCASA’s projects and team members. She remains committed to using an intersectional lens in her everyday work to ensure that the core beliefs of equity, justice, and healing are upheld for all individuals.
