Angela is a cum laude graduate from the University of Delaware. She received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and women and gender studies, with a focus on domestic violence prevention and services. Throughout college, Angela had internship experiences with the Department of Corrections and the non-profit sector. These internships involved providing direct trauma-informed support to a diverse group of individuals, which showed Angela the value in finding a balance between providing support and promoting genuine healing and self-sufficiency. This combination of internship experience and specified education in domestic violence facilitated Angela’s interest in pursuing a career in sexual violence prevention and intervention.

As the Community Resource Development Coordinator, Angela will be assisting with special events and development-related campaigns, strengthening NJCASA’s base of supporters, and expanding our network of community partners, donors, and sponsors.
