Communications & Research Specialist

Allie Fountaine is a graduate of the College of New Jersey where she studied Political Science and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. During her undergrad experience, her research primarily concentrated on intersectional feminism and public policy, with a focus on contemporary welfare policy. For three years, she was a Student Anti-Violence Peer Educator with the Office of Anti-Violence Initiatives at TCNJ. During this time, she led campus wide efforts to end power-based personal violence through educational programming surrounding violence prevention, supporting survivors, and healthy sexuality. Allie has also worked in the Office of the First Lady of NJ, where she conducted policy research and assisted in event planning related to the First Lady’s Initiative.

Allie is passionate about violence prevention and social justice. As the Communications and Research Specialist at NJCASA, Allie continues her mission-driven work through leading NJCASA’s communications and development-related projects, social media campaigns, and research to support the Coalition’s work. In her free time, Allie enjoys gardening, painting, and cooking. She loves spending time with her family, friends, many cats, and her dog.
