Salem County Women’s Services was created to meet the growing need for local, survivor-centered support in communities across Salem County, New Jersey. Many individuals and families facing domestic violence or sexual assault were struggling to find confidential help, practical advocacy, and coordinated community resources close to home. Since 1987, the organization has focused on providing free support through crisis intervention, shelter assistance, counseling, legal advocacy, education, and referrals while working alongside local hospitals, police departments, and community partners.
