Founded in 2020, the Paterson Healing Collective (PHC) is New Jersey’s premier organization centered on healing. PHC has since emerged as a beacon of hope amidst the turmoil of violence, rooted in the halls of St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.

Our mission at the Paterson Healing Collective is to provide compassionate support and holistic care to those impacted by violence, fostering healing and resilience in our community.
Through a comprehensive suite of services, we create strategies and innovative approaches to reduce violence and promote healing throughout our region.

Our program provides comprehensive support to victims of violence who are treated for penetrating and other violence-related injuries, including gunshot wounds, stab wounds, domestic violence (DV), and sexual assault (SA). We work alongside the hospital to connect survivors with immediate support, ongoing case management, and resources that promote safety, healing, and recovery.
