YWCA Union County provides confidential sexual violence advocacy services, ensuring survivors have access to survivor‑centered and trauma‑informed support. They manage a 24-hour hotline for sexual assault response team (SART) activations with trained confidential sexual violence advocates (CSVAs) available to provide free, compassionate, and confidential support and advocacy for survivors of sexual violence. Advocates can accompany survivors to hospitals and police stations and help survivors with navigating systems and resources.
