New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault Welcomes New Board Members

The New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NJCASA) is excited to announce that we have welcomed 5 new members to our board of trustees. Our board works to support NJCASA and our membership programs, as we help survivors across New Jersey and work to prevent sexual violence. Each member brings unique expertise and passion to this work, and we are grateful for the support of our new members in expanding the board’s impact.

Rachel Nider

Affiliation: Women Against Abuse / Temple University College of Public Health, Department of Nursing, Phoenix Gender Based Violence lab

Rachel is a dedicated prevention educator and passionate advocate for community well-being who brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work in violence prevention. Guided by the principles of transformative justice and community care, her work centers trauma-informed, intersectional practices that uplift survivors and promote systems-level change.  In addition to leading educational programs on sexual and intimate partner violence, healthy relationships, and the impact of systemic inequality, Rachel oversees volunteer engagement efforts to ensure community programming remains empowering, accessible, and responsive to survivor needs.  She also serves as a research assistant contributing to studies focused on healing from interpersonal violence and participates in scientific and community advisory boards, helping shape research and programming through community-centered perspectives.  As a trustee, Rachel looks forward to giving back to her home community by supporting NJCASA’s efforts to advance equitable, survivor-centered initiatives that create safer communities throughout the Garden State.

Kelly Gentry, PhD, LPC

Affiliation: Capella University / Kelly M Gentry Counseling

Kelly is a trauma informed, survivor centered clinician with deep expertise in gender based violence and a strong commitment to equity and accessibility. As a clinician, she supports clients on their healing journey by helping them process trauma related to intimate partner violence and sexual assault. Kelly’s work in violence prevention focuses on advancing approaches that are grounded in equity and cultural awareness, both in the design of prevention strategies and in the ways survivors are supported. With a deep belief in holistic, anti oppressive, mission driven work, Kelly is eager to join NJCASA’s Board of Trustees and help create a space where every voice is heard and respected

Chelsea Stack

Affiliation: RWJBarnabas Health Institute for Prevention and Recovery

A dedicated child advocacy professional, Chelsea has built a career centered on preventing and responding to violence, particularly intimate partner and sexual violence. Her experience spans working in women’s crisis shelters, crisis intervention volunteering with RAINN, and providing direct support for youth navigating mental and behavioral health crises. Over the years, Chelsea moved from frontline support roles to leading community-level prevention initiatives, disaster response coordination, youth-focused programs, and strategic planning aimed at strengthening protective factors across New Jersey. Most recently, her program leadership has focused on human trafficking and youth substance use prevention, mental health promotion, LGBTQ youth support, and strategic, equity-driven prevention planning. Chelsea joins NJCASA’s Board of Trustees with a deep commitment to strengthening New Jersey’s systems of support for survivors and supporting the advancement of meaningful, statewide violence prevention efforts.

Nahrin Khan

Affiliation: Manavi Inc.

Nahrin is a trauma informed professional committed to building a safer, more equitable New Jersey free from sexual violence. Her work centers on providing support to survivors from diverse communities and advancing approaches that prioritize equity, healing, and culturally responsive care. Through clinical practice and community engagement, Nahrin has seen firsthand how stigma, language barriers, and systemic inequities limit access to support, insights that inform her anti oppression and survivor centered work and Manavi, Inc, one of NJCASA’s culturally specific member programs. As the Program Representative on NJCASA’s Board of Trustees, Nahrin looks forward to continuing her work in building inclusive, trauma informed solutions for survivors across New Jersey by supporting NJCASA’s efforts and those of its member programs.

Jacqueline Deitch-Stackhouse

Affiliation: Princeton University – Sexual Harassment/Assault Advising, Resources & Education (SHARE) Office

Jacqueline is a seasoned clinician and long=time violence prevention advocate whose work is grounded in equity and trauma informed care. She has dedicated her professional career to supporting individuals affected by dating and sexual violence and helping them work toward healing and recovery. In her clinical work, Jacqueline applies an anti-oppression lens that recognizes how intersecting identities shape access to resources and uses that perspective to inform her advocacy for systemic change. Her commitment to fostering healthy development is reflected in more than two decades of experience in higher education focused on interpersonal violence prevention and intervention, where she has advanced values-based policies and strengthened collaboration across institutions. Jacqueline joins the Board with a deep commitment to equity and healing and looks forward to contributing her long-standing professional experience to advance NJCASA’s mission.
