NJCASA�s Executive Director talks about Media and Violence at the Janssen Summit

On May 14th,�Janssen Research & Development, LLC, a Johnson & Johnson company, along with�Saving Promise, convened a summit to discuss interpersonal violence. The summit provided an opportunity for a diverse group of professionals to discuss the ways in which violence impacts our communities. Patricia Teffenhart, NJCASA�s executive director, spoke to the ways in which traditional and non-traditional media impacts rape culture and influences survivor outcomes. Her talk includes discussion points about policy and legislation, primary prevention with expecting parents and caring adults, and samples from NJCASA�s Media Literacy prevention curriculum.See video below .
