DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, September 6th\, we gathered at the boardwalk in Bradley Beach\, New Jersey for an uplifting day filled with music\, art\, yoga\, and an optional 1.5-mile walk/roll/stroll honoring survivors of sexual violence in New Jersey.\n\n\nTogether\, we surpassed our fundraising goal\, raising a total of $43\,783. These funds will go directly toward empowering survivors\, supporting advocates\, and actualizing our shared vision of a world that provides safety\, hope\, and healing for all.

Whether you’re a sexual violence professional\, an allied partner\, or a community member looking to make connections and learn more\, you’re invited to attend. In fact\, the more the merrier—feel free to invite friends\, family\, or colleagues to join you! \nRSVP: To help us plan accordingly\, we’re asking all guests to RSVP at your earliest convenience. If you need accommodations during the event\, we ask that you please RSVP at least two weeks in advance to ensure we can provide proper services.

DESCRIPTION:Thanks to all who joined us on May 8th & 9th\, 2024 for our free\, virtual conference entitled Creating Transformative Systems! \nOur conference was centered around how to unite stakeholders from diverse sectors to help prevent sexual violence and build collaborative\, resilient systems of support for survivors\, with a special focus on those with historically marginalized identities who often face increased instances of sexual violence and barriers to accessing care. \nThe event featured a guided conversation with New York Times bestselling author and trauma specialist Resmaa Menakem and a combination of panels and workshops led by experts in the anti-sexual violence movement and allied sectors.

SUMMARY:MOVEMENT FOR A SAFER NJ 2023
DESCRIPTION:Thank you to all who joined us on Sunday\, September 24th\, 2023 for Movement for a Safer NJ! Our event took place on the boardwalk in beautiful Bradley Beach\, NJ\, and featured a 1.8-mile walk/roll/stroll honoring the estimated 1.8 million survivors of sexual violence in NJ. We’re proud to share that we exceeded our original $35k fundraising goal\, and raised over $40.3k to support programs and services across New Jersey that serve survivors and help to prevent sexual violence. We’re incredibly grateful to all our fundraisers\, donors\, sponsors\, and allies committed to this work.
