Research & Communications Coordinator
Areas of Expertise
Alix Mammina is responsible for supporting NJCASA’s research, communications, and policy work. In her role, Alix works across the Coalition to coordinate strategic communications; develop and design outreach and educational materials; conduct research for grant projects and legislative advocacy; and support statewide policy initiatives.
Prior to working at NJCASA, Alix contributed to equity and justice reform initiatives while conducting research and coordinating communications at Child Trends, the American University Justice Programs Office, and the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. Alix holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society from American University. Her experience working in campus sexual assault prevention as an undergraduate sparked her interest in the movement, and she is committed to finding evidence-based and equity-driven methods of ending sexual violence.
